Oven Baked “Fried” Pickles

Ingredients:

4 dill pickle spears, sliced length wise into 4 pieces

1 egg, whisked

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Season to taste: onion salt, garlic powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a wire rack and place on top of a baking sheet. Pat the pickles dry. Set up 3 separate work stations: 1) flour 2) whisked egg 3) panko and parmesan mixed with your favorite seasonings. Dip the pickle spear in the flour, egg, then panko. Place all of them on top of the wire rack. Give it a good spray with canola oil. Bake for 10 minutes. Flip, then bake another 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve immediately with ranch on the side! (In the picture above, I dipped it in Trader Joe’s Jalapeno Sauce.)
